New Athletes ages 8 to 15
Intake night for new members ages 8 to 15 is on the first Wednesday of every month. Report to the Notts AC Clubhouse (beside the running track) at Harvey Hadden Sports Village and enrol from 5.30pm onwards ready for 6pm start. The session will last approximately 1 hour and finish shortly before 7pm.
No need to book – just come along to Harvey Hadden Stadium, Nottingham, NG8 4PB on any of the dates shown below:-
2nd January 2019
6th February 2019
6th March 2019
3rd April 2019
1st May 2019
You’ll need to wear suitable casual clothes and trainers, bring a drink (not fizzy) and a fee of £4.00 and be accompanied by a parent/ carer who can sign our Registration & Consent Form. A pack of information is supplied on the night which should answer most of your/ your parents queries and also explain our expectations of you as a member of Notts AC.
Following Intake Night, there is a 4 week trial period which allows you time to get the hang of your training group and make friends. During the 4 week trial period you can train on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5-6pm or 6-7pm. Hopefully, at the end of that time you’ll feel inspired to join as a full member.
We welcome everyone so you’re not required to have reached any particular standard although, with regular training, we guarantee you’ll improve!
New athletes ages 8 – 15 also feed into the Club via our two Gedling Satellite Clubs and our Beeston Satellite Club – see ‘Training Times’ for details.
If you have a query regarding members aged 8 – 15 years you can contact the Notts AC office on 0115 9854289.
New Athletes under the age of 8
We sometimes receive enquiries regarding athletics opportunities for younger children but, for insurance reasons, we are unable to accept members younger than 8 years of age at the Club. However, our Satellite Club in Beeston on Monday evenings caters for children from the age of 5 and may be of interest.
See ‘Training Times’ for details or call Wendy Kane on 0115 9254112 for enquiries regarding the Beeston Satellite Club only.
New Athletes ages 16 to Senior
Any potential member aged 16 or over can just come along on either of our main training nights, Tuesday or Thursday, and enquire at the Registration Desk situated beside the track.
