INDOORS

Sportshall Athletics

Monthly competition from October to March for anyone in the under 11, under 13 or under 15 age groups. The club selects one person per event, but anyone else wishing to compete can take part in guest races. This means there are no restrictions in the number of athletes that can take part.

TRACK & FIELD
Mini League

County based league for under 11, 13 and 15. There are usually four competitions over the summer. Selection is as per Sportshall above which allows all members to take part.

National Young Athletes League
Team competition for under 13, 15 and 17. The club chooses two athletes per event. There are five matches during the summer. Notts AC currently compete in the Midland Premier Division.

National Junior League
Team competition for under 20s, although under 17s are often selected for the team. There are four matches per season with two athletes being selected per event. Notts AC men currently compete in the Northern Premier Division, whilst the ladies compete in the Humber Division.

Nottingham City League
This is a local league, which gives under 17s and above the chance to take part in a low-key midweek competition at Harvey Hadden. There are four matches during the summer and anyone can take part.

Midland Women's League
Team competition for under 15, 17 and seniors. Two athletes are selected per event and there are three matches per season. Notts AC are currently in Division 1.

Midland Men's League
Team competition for seniors. Two athletes are selected per event. The Notts AC "B" team are currently in Division 2. The "A" team takes part in the British Athletic League.

British Athletic League
Team competition for senior men. Two athletes are selected per event. Notts AC are currently in Division 3.

Midland Veteran League
Team competition for men over 40 and ladies over 35. There are four matches per season, usually held mid week.

Others
In addition to the above leagues, there are County, Midland and National Championships as well as numerous open meetings that Notts AC athletes take part in.

INTERNAL COMPETITIONS These will be held from time to time as part of the Induction Group for all members aged under 11, 13, 15 and 17. The aim of these competitions is to help the coaches see how the athletes are progressing and to give the athletes a taste of what it is like to take part in a competition.

ROAD
Notts Summer League
Nottinghamshire holds the largest county Road Race League in the country. There are normally five mid week races in the series held at venues around the county during in the summer. The club encourages as many members as possible to take part.

Open Races
There are numerous races held in and around Nottingham that Notts AC members enter. In addition members often join up to travel to races further afield. The club normally organises three or four races per year.

Midland and National Relays
There are relays for men, women, veterans and young athletes that are normally held during October and April. The club is always well represented at these.

Championships
Races throughout the county and beyond are nominated as County, Midland or National Championships. The club is normally well represented at these events.

CROSS COUNTRY
Mini League
Normally one race per month between October and March. Open to all club members under 11, 13 and 15.

North Midlands Cross Country League
Open to all members aged from under 13 through to veterans. Normally four matches per year between October and January.

Championships
Relay Championships are held in early winter, with County, Midland and National Championships being held January to March. With the exception of the relays, there are no limits to the number of runners.

FELL RUNNING
A small band of members travel all over the country to take part in open and Championship fell races.
